Laneways Identity | 2011 Qantm Create Design Awards

Brief: Create a visual identity for Brisbane City Council’s laneways, alleyways and arcades. The typeface for Laneways was custom designed to represent a sense of exploration and discovery. The typeface is engaging, bold and urban. It positions laneways as unique, interactive destinations and connectors. The negative space of each character reflects the shapes created by laneways when viewed from an aerial perspective.
